HF Agent Andreoli (Ryan Guy) finished third. The race was a showcase of strategic driving and horse power, with Berube's experience shining through.

Leg 2 saw Nick Boyd back on the front end with his first draft pick, the 1-5 favourite Kinnder Colosse ($2.50). Boyd held off Pascale Berube's Lightning Sena by three-quarters of a length, with Woodmere Rebel (Marie-Claude Auger) finishing third. Kinnder Colosse's 1:59.2 victory kept him undefeated in two career starts, tying him with Berube at the top of the leaderboard.
